‘Found’ farm window from Mankato, MN, repurposed into a message board.
The window frame’s original distressed white paint was further enhanced with one coat of walnut stain, various colors of Annie’s chalk paint, and one coat of amber shellac.
‘Found’ antique chickenwire was cut and stapled to the backside of the window frame.
Using a high-density foam roller, 3/16″ MDF was painted with three coats of Rust-Oleum blackboard chalk paint.
After drying, the chalk boards were cut to size, and tacked to backside of window frame.
‘Found’ antique tin flower clips are were added to secure memos to the chickenwire.
