Another 2013 must have for our Zone 4 gardens.  What a gorgeous mix of vibrant flower colors!

Echinacea ‘Cheyenne Spirit’

This new coneflower, which won a 2013 award from All-America Selection (AAS), produces a mix of colored flowers; rich purple, pink, red and orange tones to lighter yellows, creams and white.  Flowers will attract butterflies in perennial beds and mass landscape plantings.  Sturdy and compact, plants do not require a lot of water, and are heat and deer resistant.  Disease or insect problems are few.  Blooms last long, cut or dried.
